Time seems to have taken on a very elastic quality since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic. The past year has flown past with lots of activity. Yet lockdown now seems like a distant, faintly remembered, bad dream: was it really only a few years ago? It was during lockdown that we began writing these online thoughts and we are now well into our fifth year with, I would estimate, well over five hundred separate contributions. (I am sure that Ian could give us precise figures.)
I am still always pleased to find a new thought for the day on my phone. I get to know a new aspect of each of the contributors through their written words. I am amused that I can now quickly identify the name I will find as I scroll to the bottom of the final paragraph and I am always set thinking by what I read. We are fortunate that we have a number of people who can provide us with such a wide range of topics and ways of looking at the world. I thank God for the difference they have made to my life in these past few, difficult years.
