Our vision is to be an Open Church
First of all, open to God through our exploration of faith and learning to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
Along with our Sunday worship, there are a number of opportunities to engage in conversations about the bible and faith throughout the week. We want to encourage others to search for an understanding of God through their questions and experience of life.
Secondly, open to people through our hospitality at Coffee Shop and through meals, as well as all kinds of groups that meet regularly. Places where we can chat, laugh and talk about the stuff in our lives that matters. We believe no one should be lonely but can find friendship here as part of Tyndale.
Thirdly, we believe that marking and celebrating life events is key to being open to the full, good life that God invites us all to share. Weddings, anniversaries, giving thanks for our children and family life should all be celebrated with others.
In the same way, when we go through experiences of the death of people we love, or the ending of a relationship, or need support when we’re ill, then we need the love of a community around us. So we offer support and care for those for whom life is a struggle.
