Vacancy for Church Administrator

Location: Tyndale Baptist Church, Whiteladies Road, Clifton, Bristol. BS8 2QG

The Role

The church administrator role involves overseeing the daily activities of the church, including supporting the minister and the church’s mission, by maintaining effective communication across the church community.

What will you be doing?

You will:

  • Be responsible for maintaining church records, policies, databases and correspondence, preparing reports for the church leadership and meetings
  • Be responsible for advertising and general publicity, both externally and within the church.
  • Be responsible for organising halls lettings.

You should apply if

  • You have proven administrative or office management experience (preferably in a church or non-profit setting).
  • You are well organised, with excellent communication skills
  • You have discretion, integrity and are in sympathy with the values and mission of the church
  • You are proficient in office software, e.g. Microsoft Office, Google workspace

Additional information

Contract type: Three years fixed term (may be renewable)

Salary: £7,932 p.a. payable monthly

Hours of Work: 12 hours per week
