Vacancy for Resident Caretaker

Location: Tyndale Baptist Church, Whiteladies Road, Clifton, Bristol. BS8 2QG

The Role

The resident caretaker will be a welcoming presence to all those who use the premises.

You will take responsibility for the general upkeep, cleanliness, security, and management of the church building and the surrounding area.

You should apply if

  • You have previous experience in a cleaning or caretaker role, ideally in a church or community environment.
  • You have proven record of using cleaning equipment and basic tools safely and effectively.
  • You are willing to work flexibly and assume overall responsibility for the role.
  • You are in sympathy with the values and mission of the church.
  • You have proven ability to manage and prioritise and wide range of tasks efficiently, with attention to detail.

Additional information

Salary: £11,811 p.a. plus free accommodation on the premises to include heating, lighting and water.

Hours of work: 24 hours per week, to be worked as needed.
